The sign-in feels like a native part of your app: familiar SSO buttons, your brand in the header, and a flow that gets users back into the product quickly.
Familiar sign-in options lower the barrier to entry. Users get into the app in just a few taps instead of going through a password flow first.
Everything about authentication – from login methods to where it’s used.
OB7 supports Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, Microsoft Account, and email & password. For email/password, optional two-factor authentication is available.
The same login methods are used in the driver app (for end customers) and, optionally, in the QR-code payment flow. Unregistered users can pay ad-hoc; registration in the payment flow uses the same Apple, Google, Microsoft, or email options.
Yes. One account, same sign-in methods in the driver app and in the ad-hoc QR payment flow. Customers can view charging and payment history in one place.
End-customer accounts belong to our customers – the organisations that use OB7 (e.g. CPOs or EMPs). OB7 operates the platform; you retain ownership of the customer relationship and data. That keeps migration straightforward and ownership clear. With providers that tie customers to a roaming EMP, you can lose those customers to that provider – with OB7 you don’t.
Email/password supports optional two-factor authentication. All sign-in flows use encrypted connections. Apple and Google sign-in use the providers’ secure authentication.
Customers can reset their password via a secure link sent by email. The link is valid for a limited time.
